Mad World - Kills Montage
This game is going to be very addictive I can see, but from what everyone says it seems to be extremely fun as well. Can't wait for more!

Sonic & The Black Knight - new trailer
Well graphically this game looks awesome, it remains to be seen how well the new gimmick (the sword) for Sonic will control in the end.

Wii - Ultimate Graphics Information Page
A fan of this site by the name of Shokio made a video inspired by an article I wrote over a year ago about how the Wii is more powerful than people think. He did this entirely on his own without any input from me, which is fine. I like what he did and decided to make one huge graphics discussion post with links to all of my articles that support that the Wii has a lot of untapped power that many developers up until this point have not been using. PS2 and even PSP ports have been seen way too many times on the Wii. The Wii is the market leader now (and has been for a long time) and in 2009 we will finally start to see games that actually look really good and use the architecture inside the Wii that is so finely made to be efficient and get more done graphically with less processing power.
If you ever want to win a graphics debate with someone who hates the Wii and always wants to come back to the conclusion that the Wii can't produce visuals that can be in the ballpark of a 360 game, use this post for all your argument needs. LOL.
The Wii has more power than you think
Wii is more powerful than Xbox, Gamecube was equal to Xbox
Wii can do a lot more graphically, Factor 5 tells why
Factor 5's Wii engine "does everything the PS3 does and then some"
ATi-Wii graphics at E3 are tip of the iceberg
So there you have it, all the posts on the Wii's graphics that I've posted here in the 3 plus years of this site's existence. I'll let the links speak for themselves, they are all very insightful so I suggest reading them - especially the Factor 5 articles. Enjoy!

Mad World - Subway, Downtown and Bat gameplay videos
Wow, this game looks very fun indeed. The gameplay reminds me of No More Heroes meets Final Fight. His bat looks more like a big red meat stick in the last video. Hilarious.

Overlord: Dark Legend - trailer & tons of info
Designed and developed exclusively for Wii, Overlord Dark Legend is a brand new action adventure steeped in fairy tale lore with sinister, satirical twists. Set in a time before the original game (Overlord, 2007), players step into the role of a new younger Overlord and revel in command of the most vicious, yet lovable little critters in gaming – the Minions.
Forming a unique rampaging army, the Minions are a demonic, slavish and loyal horde of imp-like critters predisposed to violence. No matter: they’re always ready and willing to follow even the most suicidal order, whether it’s raiding villages for kicks and giggles or hurling themselves at enemies in the face of kamikaze odds in the beautifully rendered game world. With a story and characters that poke playful fun at fantasy cliché, our trainee tyrant will be able to take his growing pains out on the local fairy tale inhabitants as he protects his castle and lands.
• Seize the Power: Donning the armour of the Overlord, players become commander-in-chief of a fighting, thieving and pillaging horde of crazed minions (with hundreds more waiting in reserve) – a force quite unlike any other. Send out your minions to crush rock giants, gnomes, halflings, elves, dwarves, peasants and more. Become a new Overlord, conquer realms and grow your castle from dilapidated ruins to glorious expression of your absolute power.
• Pillage and destroy with the Wii Remote: Controlling the minions is slick and devastating, requiring a flick of the Wii Remote to send the raucous rabble into battle. Whether you’re swishing the remote to sweep the horde into battle or pointing it to direct magic spells and fireballs at enemies, the Wii Remote becomes the perfect extension of the Overlord’s despotic will.
• Throttle Your Minions: Individual Minions can be plucked from the horde, held by the neck and then, by vigorously shaking the Wii Remote, throttled! This stirs up the volatile lifeforce within them and they become a manic minion missile. With a now-explosive body, the insane little critter can be guided into enemies with hilarious, if rather fatal, consequences for both parties.
• A twisted fairy tale: With a rich, tongue-in-cheek story written by award-winning games author Rhianna Pratchett, this exclusive Overlord adventure for Wii tells a new and twisted fairy tale. The lead character is in a Cinderella scenario with his elder and rather unpleasant brother and sister. He is the forgotten child while his father is away, and his wicked twin siblings are plotting to take over the kingdom with their own perverse alliances with elves and dwarves. The story game also introduces wicked witches, gingerbread men and Lil’ Red, the seeming sweet girl with a lupine side to her personality.
• Meet the Minions: The Brown Minions are the fighters and the strongest minions in general combat. Red Minions are fire throwers and act like archers by hurling blazing fireballs as a long range attack. Green Minions are the assassins and love to use stealth attacks. Blue Minions are the smartest of the minions and have healing powers and can resurrect their fallen minion comrades and bring them back into the fight.
Looking great!
My Universal Studios trip
We had a lot of fun hanging out at Universal Studios yesterday. The traffic is horrible as you could imagine, and the park is only open until 5pm but you'd be surprised as to how much you can see in day there. It probably helped that it was a work day for most people, making the lines about 10 minutes or less. Good times!

The Conduit - experience interview
An online mode better than Mario Kart Wii? That sounds very good to me since Mario Kart Wii already has a smooth online experience with the option to just add your Wii friends as friends in the game. If they can make the friend code system as painless as that then I know I'll be very happy with The Conduit's online mode.

Dead Space: Extraction - debut trailer
Lament with me brothers our great future prospect has died.
Maybe it is the reason that this game will in fact be an on-rails shooter. All joking aside, I am very disappointed that this game will not follow suit in a third person view with controls similar to Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. Dead Rising is not good enough (at all). This really was a great opportunity for EA to show that they are truly serious about Wii hardcore gaming.
I understand that this game may in fact be great in the end, and it does "look" hardcore. However, I for one am full on the on-rails games for the Wii and I'm ready for something different that really lets you take more use of the Wii remote by using it as something different than just a pointing device alone. Also, having a fixed way to move is very limiting no matter how many gameplay additions they add to Dead Space.
How do you feel about this potential missed opportunity?

So are they totally going to spoil the game before it's released or will High Voltage start getting a little bit more quiet until June 9th?

Mad World - new gameplay video
Wow, they weren't kidding. You can pretty much do all the gruesome things you always wanted to do but couldn't in this game. This game will be a must buy for most adult gamers I would say.

House of the Dead: Overkill - graphics and tech video
It's funny how a lot of developers are now claiming that they have the game that supports the best graphics on Wii and Sega is now joining the party. House of the Dead: Overkill is the only game I've seen on the Wii yet that does full-screen motion blur while turning quickly, not even The Conduit does that....nice.

The Conduit - New York Comic Con videos
While it is a bummer that Nintendo didn't let High Voltage put lan multiplayer into The Conduit (you suck Nintendo) the online modes are most likely going to be good considering the time and effort being put into it. High Voltage is supposed to make an announcement concerning new online modes soon.

House of the Dead: Overkill - IGN Video review
This game looks awesome, too bad about the instances of lag throughout the game to cut down the score a bit. Regardless, this looks miles better than House of the Dead 2&3.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up - new screens

With all the changes that the Turtles have seen over the years it's nice to see that the developer is taking the series back to it's roots with a more dark approach. The interview at IGN talks more about this in detail. I'm not really a Ninja Turtles fan anymore but I was when I was ten if that means anything.....

Tenchu: Shadow Assassins - video review
I will be picking this one up shortly, looks very nice. Any Tenchu fans out there? I've actually never played a single Tenchu game but since this looks like it will be fun on Wii, I decided to give it a try.

Since the game will be released on the 10th of this month I thought that having more coverage of it would be nice. Who is going to be picking this up?
