Fragile is looking mighty fine so far, the art style carries it through out. IGN has a release date of Q4 '09 in the states so hopefully it won't slip past that release date and into 2010.......side boob anyone?
This game looks like it will be really fun when it's released later this year.
For now go and enjoy The Conduit and don't worry about Gamepot's harsh review of the game. It's funny how it seems that only Wii games are rated so harshly when it comes to hardcore affairs. I've never seen anything like it before really, contradicting their own words within the review and just having such an uneven score through out the industry. Anti Wii bias? I think so actually. I'm glad that it doesn't really matter since the Wii is still far and away the number 1 system on the market.
Hi guys, have any of you got The Conduit yet? That Gamepro review has caused quite a bit of hate filled backlash by pretty much all hardcore Wii owners. Apparently the main part that people are having an issue with is that the reviewer (Captain dickhead) said that he thinks the control is faulty even though you can make the control anything you want. The Conduit is all about customizations.
He also said that he rushed through the Campaign and skipped cut-scenes; how can he expect people to take that serious? I sense another fired employee from another website coming.....I think any gamer out there could do a better job than that for free.
Mean while, enjoy the video of all the customizing you can do with The Conduit.
Who here has a big problem with The Conduit playing very similar to Perfect Dark? Not me. Perfect Dark is one of my all time favorite games, so who cares if The Conduit doesn't have vehicles, a cover system or whatever the other new FPS games try to do to make them seem different when they are still a FPS game when it's all said and done. I for one never liked breaking up the action of a FPS game with all these additional things being added in, which is why I'm happy The Conduit is strictly First Person Shooting.
I haven't actually "seen" this commercial live on TV yet, but someone did and was able to upload it on YouTube. It looks really nice, and if you were a Wii owner that didn't use the Internet and knew nothing about The Conduit I think you'd be interested in this game.
Looks like they are showing off the "lobby" of the game where you can interact with others. I'm still very excited to get my hands on this one and willing to wait for the English version to be released since Japanese eludes me.
New screens from the final version of the game, so take it or leave it I guess. My question is, where the heck is all the advertising that High Voltage and Sega have been promising? I've haven't seen one commercial for The Conduit yet and the game is supposed to be released next week (apparently some people have seen a commercial on South Park last night, but that's it). Not much mainstream anticipation besides whats going on the Internet. After seeing all the hype for Mad World on the net not translate into sales (not much of an ad Campaign); they better follow through on their promise and get people outside of the Internet more aware of this game.
Here we finally have footage of the finished version of The Conduit. I must say that it looks miles better than when we first saw the game over 1 year ago. Some early reviews have giving The Conduit between a 75-80 percent range stating that while it's a "good game" it lacks in being much different from other FPS games. For me, this looks a hell of a lot better than those Word War II FPS Wii games (which some were rated pretty good). I think we're all ready for a good old Sci-Fi first person shooter, especially on the Wii. Bring it on :)
Now that looks much better, my only question is where is the crowd? Maybe this was in "exhibition" mode, but would they still have beheading in an exhibition? The graphics look great despite those questions.
This video looks very very bad in terms of quality, so I'll reserve judgement on this until we get to see a high quality version. You do get the idea behind the game though, it looks pretty fun so far.
Hard to believe that this game was being shown at E3 after only being in development for about 6 1/2 weeks!? I can't wait to see how it will look when it's finished...
This game doesn't look too shabby, but it is still in the rental category for me. It at the very least looks much better than the first game which was below average.
Most of the gaming media have completely forgot about this game and it's too bad. This looks like such a huge leap up from the original that it looks almost like it could be named something else entirely.
I've been on a mini break, but I'm back. If any of you missed some of the E3 gameplay footage of "The Grinder" don't miss these videos! This game looks like a beast....
Your best viewing option on my site is using the FireFox browser since Internet Explorer (I hate IE) cuts off the widescreen on the Youtube videos. Enjoy
There is always something about a Mario game that strikes the heart of every gamer and makes you just want to play it. This I think is the first time a Mario game has had a direct sequel with a continuation on the story from a previous game.
This game looks amazing! The level of detail is awesome and the controls look extremely well thought out. Using the Wii remote as a full sword has been every fanboy's dream since the system came out. I'd rather have a sword controller or a controller like Wii motion plus in my hand than a full body camera, the Eye Toy has been done before (yes I know that it's better than that but the execution is the same).
